The RDG-15 rotary drum sulfur granulator developed by Nanjing Sanpu Pelletizing Equipment Co., Ltd. was successfully started up in July 2011 at the 100,000-ton/year sulfur plant of Singapore Nanyang Chemical SPCI Co., Ltd., creating a breakthrough in developed countries. It is the first time to use a sulfur granulator with a production capacity of 15 tons per hour under very strict environmental protection requirements. Since the device is built near the port of Singapore, the requirements for environmental protection and emission are very strict. In November 2010, the company conducted a detailed inspection of the rotary drum sulfur granulator and steel belt granulator produced by Nanjing Sanpu Pelletizing Equipment Co., Ltd., and visited the user site. Due to the direct discharge of liquid sulfur, sulfur waste gas and dust from the steel belt granulator, there is no dust removal system. The rotary drum sulfur granulator is equipped with a wet water film dust removal system, and obtains very environmentally friendly emission data from the user site. Based on Singapore's strict environmental regulations and port terminal land restrictions. The final decision was to purchase a rotary drum sulfur granulator, which was put into use in July 2011 and has been in use for 15 months.
Judging from the use of more than one year, the sulfur drum granulator has the following characteristics: 1. It occupies a small area, only 1/3 of the area of a steel belt granulator, which reduces the cost of civil construction. 2. Easy to install and reduce installation time. The rotary drum sulfur granulator can be installed on site as a whole, and only the sulfur pipe and cooling water pipe are connected. 3. The production capacity is large. After long-term production and operation assessment, the average sulfur granulation output is 18 tons/hour. The product is spherical in 2~8mm. 4. The operation process is stable, the operation is simple, and the maintenance cost is greatly reduced. The whole device can be operated by only 3 people. There is no replacement of wearing parts in a year, which greatly saves maintenance and repair expenses.
