The technology and complete set of equipment of sulfur rotary grouting granulation have been developed successfully


After three years of development by Nanjing Sanpu Pelletizing Equipment Co., Ltd., the RDG type sulfur rotary drum spray granulator was successfully tested in Lianyungang Yashi Sulfur Co., Ltd. in May 2009. The technology and device have obtained relevant national patents. This not only provides a new choice for my country's sulfur granulation technology, but also provides an economical, reasonable and efficient process solution for large-scale production equipment.

The process mechanism of the sulfur rotary drum spray granulation device is: install many lifting boards on the inner wall of a rotating cylinder. With the rotation of the cylinder, the powder or small particles of sulfur in the cylinder are continuously picked up and put into the cylinder. One side forms a curtain of material. On the other side, liquid sulfur is sprayed into the material curtain in the cylinder from the nozzle, mixed with sulfur powder, sprayed and condensed to form spherical particles, which fall on the bottom of the cylinder and are picked up again by the lifting board inside the cylinder. The sulfur continues to be sprayed, and the particles further grow into balls. When the pellets form into 2-6mm balls, they fall into the belt conveyor through one end of the drum for packaging. While liquid sulfur is sprayed into the cylinder, high-pressure atomized water is sprayed, and the latent heat of vaporization of water is used to rapidly cool and solidify the sprayed and coated liquid sulfur particles, and at the same time, water vapor is discharged from the rotary drum of the granulator by the induced draft fan. In addition, the exhausted exhaust gas is emptied after dust removal. Since the whole process detects the temperature of the material in the granulator, the computer controls the flow of liquid sulfur or cooling water in real time, so that the material can be cooled quickly, and it can effectively prevent the water content of the material from being too large, so as to avoid excessive water content.

At present, most of the sulfur granulation molding equipment in my country adopts rotary steel belt granulator. Whether domestic or imported equipment, there are low output, many auxiliary equipment, complex and huge public works, high investment in equipment and basic engineering, and maintenance costs. Insufficient high level, resulting in a significant increase in the production cost per ton of sulfur. The rotary drum sulfur granulator has the advantages of small investment, large output, less supporting equipment, and can be placed in the open air, which greatly reduces the cost of civil engineering and installation.

Through the above comparison, we can conclude that in large-scale sulfur granulation production, the rotary drum shotcrete granulator has more advantages than the rotary steel belt granulator.

Therefore, the rotary drum spray granulator has obvious and huge advantages in sulfur molding, and is an ideal choice for large-volume sulfur molding. At present, only the Puguang Gas Field of Sinopec Group in my country has adopted the imported sulfur rotary drum spray granulator, and the price of a single machine has exceeded 10 million yuan. At present, Nanjing Sanpu Pelletizing Equipment Co., Ltd. has successfully developed the RDG-15 sulfur spraying drum granulation process and its complete set of equipment with a production capacity of 15T/h. The machine adopts a modular structure design, which has obvious advantages such as short and stable process, low energy consumption, high production capacity, convenient installation and low investment.
